Domestic help

This has been the hardest issue for me to get my head round. Do I hire domestic help or not?
In order to make a rational decision it was first necessary for me to realise that, in spite of my best endeavours, I genuinely cannot do everything - just call me Superwoman!
The next set of prejudices that I had to overturn came from my upbringing. My Parents would never pay anyone to do something that they could do themselves - a hard argument to overcome. Although my new mantra is if you can afford to pay someone else, why would you do it yourself!
